BRMP Karting Speedway

Due to the hot temperatures and high humidity forecasted for Saturday, we have decided to cancel the races for this weekend, July 25th. We did not make this decision lightly. We considered the well being of our staff, racers and families, and our loyal fans that watch from the hill each week. After our last race being so hot and talking with some families afterwards, we took all these conversations into consideration as well.

Thank you for your understanding and we will see you all back at the track on Saturday, August 15th.

Our friends at Morgan Park Service had such a good time being a part of our Rookie Cage Rumble this month that they decided to join us as a season sponsor!

Thank you Proctor KME Speedway for inviting our kart racers to join in the evening and thank you to the families that brought a kart out!

🏁 IT’S RACE WEEK! 🏁
This Saturday is our fifth points race of the season!

Gates will open at 8am. Registration will be from 8:00-10:30 with draw cutoff being at 10:30! Anyone that registers after draw cutoff will start at the back of the pack, we will not redo lineups.

Drivers meeting at 10:30. Hotlaps at 11 with racing to follow. All classes that we will be running are listed on the flyer below. Please note our age groups for Rbox Green Plate and Rbox Blue Plate. Also, if you are running the Jr. Wing class you cannot drop down and run Blue Plate as well.

TIRES!! Just a reminder that we are a Hoosier track and will be running Hoosier treaded tires only in ALL classes with the exception of rookie cage.

Pit passes are $20 each. $5 draw fee for each class you run. Spectator area is free, remember to bring a lawn chair! We are a cash only facility.

FOOD!! As of right now we are still working on food options for this weekends race. We will update as we know more.

We will be using MyRacePass but TRANSPONDERS are NOT needed at this time.

THIS SUNDAY! July 19th. Come and join Proctor KME Speedway for Meet the Drivers Night!

💥 Kids who bring a kart get in FREE

💥 Kids are invited to participate in the meet the drivers portion of the evening while displaying their karts

💥 Karts will do a lap around the track during the national anthem

💥 Stay and watch the big cars race!

Even if you don’t have a kart to bring, this is still a great opportunity to come out and meet our young local drivers and support a local track so these kids still have a place to race when they get older!

If you are bringing a kart we ask that you arrive at Proctor KME Speedway around 3:30. See you there!

A huge thank you to Morgan Park Service for sponsoring our Rookie Cage Rumble for the second year in a row and also for all their help at the track yesterday!

These little drivers are the future of racing and it’s amazing to watch their progress each week. Yesterday we attempted rolling starts in our rookie class, which for most of these kids was the first time they’ve ever done it. They rocked it! Each time got better and better and we know that with a little more practice they will be ready to take on the next class when it’s time to move up.

Just a few things to remember.
We will be using MyRacePass so if you don’t already have a profile please download the app and create a profile so we can find you at registration. We will not be using transponders just yet.

We are a Hoosier only track. All classes MUST run Hoosier treaded tires with the exception of rookie cage.

If you are coming to spectate, we do not have bleachers. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the races! 🙂
