Y'all, our royalty and law enforcement were looking absolutely picture-perfect at the Douglas County Fair! 👑🤠
Our Southern Stampede Queen and Princess brought all the grace, big smiles, and rodeo spirit to the meeting, while our Sheriff and Undersheriff kept the fairgrounds safe and sound (and maybe stopped for a funnel cake or two!).
We are so proud of our royalty for representing the Stampede with such charm, and huge thanks to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for always having our backs! 💛✨

Not just rodeo! The Sutherlin Stampede and its group of volunteers take pride in not only hosting rodeo events, but also taking part in supporting our local youth through various avenues. Enjoy these pictures from our June 2026 Showmanship Bootcamp! These great group of kids practiced in the summer heat and then showed in the rain.

Thank you to the volunteers and the Douglas County 4-H extension office that made this event possible. With their help, we were able to provide a no cost learning experience for the youth in our community!

You all showed up! We had a great turn out at Saturday night’s bull riding & we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We also want to take a moment to honor some incredible achievements from our recent royalty competition that we weren’t able to fully recognize during the main event. Please join us in giving a tremendous round of applause to these outstanding cowgirls:

Most Inspirational Cowgirl: Voted on by everyone involved in the event—including contestants, coordinators, and volunteers—this award goes to the individual who truly exemplified leadership, positivity, and spirit throughout the competition. We are thrilled to announce our winner is 2026 Queen Kaitlynn Radka!

First Runner-Up Princess: We are incredibly proud to recognize Cambria Comstock, our 2027 First Runner-Up for Princess. Her grace and effort throughout the competition were truly commendable.

First Runner-Up Queen: Though she didn't take home the crown, she proved herself to be an exceptionally fierce, dedicated, and elegant competitor. Congratulations to Hope Konopaski, our 2027 First Runner-Up for Queen!

Thank you to each of these young women for their dedication, hard work, and for beautifully representing the spirit of the Sutherlin Stampede.
