Collins Hill Girls Lacrosse

Players, coaches, and families met to say goodbye to a challenging lacrosse season that revealed a valuable commodity in that our players have fun no matter what the scoreboard says. Coaches Shalaundria Harris and Tori Hollingsworth couldn’t have been prouder to present our players with varsity letters, scholar athletes, and superlative awards. Senior Goalie Jenesis Avery had the privilege of lovingly roasting a few teammates with paper plate awards. Thanks to everyone for their support in the classroom and on the field. GO EAGLES!

Tonight is Senior Night for our Class of 2025! We will celebrate their contributions, memories, and futures. Senior players are so special to a team as teammates look to them to lead in the ever shrinking minutes of game play while making new memories for returning players. Go Eagles!! Photos: Ron Jones

Congratulations to Collins Hill Girls Lacrosse ‘22 alumni Lawna Goetschl with Reinhardt University for being recognized by the Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association as the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week. Lawna scored 3 goals including the game winner in double-overtime for the Eagles!

Congratulations to Collins Hill Girls Lacrosse Senior Caelyn Gierek on reaching two milestones this week by passing 150 Saves this season and 250 Saves for her Varsity career. As a picture of patience, Caelyn bided her time behind an older All-County Teammate in previous seasons. As a Senior starter, Caelyn took on the challenges of this season while leading with her enjoyment of backing up her new and seasoned teammates. Thank you Caelyn!

Two Collins Hill Girls Lacrosse Seniors have found their home to continue playing women’s lacrosse after announcing their collegiate program commitments. Congratulations to Goalie Caelyn Gierek and A/M Delanie Hunt on their decisions to attend and compete for Thiel College (PA) and Life University respectively.

Our players are Away at Hebron Christian as a first time opponent at 5:30pm. The CHHS Boys follow against the Lions at 7:30pm.
