Hi everyone! I am Coach Randy's wife. I am currently the only remaining Admin of this page, but would like to turn over the reins to someone who has an athlete in the program since I will not likely be keeping up with this page as regularly now that my athletes have all graduated. Peachtree Ridge’s Haggard, North Gwinnett’s Melkerson named runners of the week Peachtree Ridge’s Alex Haggard and North Gwinnett’s Sarah Melkerson were named Gwinnett runners of the week Wednesday by the county’s cross country coaches.

Congratulations to Alaina Burnside who was named the Gwinnett Daily Post Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at the FSU Invitational in Tallahassee, FL! Well-deserved - way to go Alaina! She is now the 4th GDP Runner of the Week this year for the Lions!

Please congratulate our Cross Country runners for their performance at the very competitive Berry College Clara Bowl Invitational this past weekend. Sophomore sensation Chase Condra was the individual champion for the boys, decimating the rest of the field by more than 10 seconds. Junior Mary Kathryn Knott came in 3rd place overall and was the fastest finisher from Gwinnett County. She also moved up to #5 on the all-time Peachtree Ridge board with her time of 19:05. The boys team placed 8th and the girls team placed 11th out of nearly 50 schools.
