Update to Class Purchase Options + New Classes!
We have an important update about class purchasing options here at Above Ground. We are moving away from non-renewing packages and transitioning to a simpler structure of drop-in classes and monthly subscriptions only.
Effective immediately:
Non-renewing packages are no longer available for purchase.
All existing packages will absolutely be honored until they are used up within their expiration dates.
Our monthly subscriptions (4, 8, 12, 16, and unlimited classes per month) now reflect the price points of our previous packages, and are now the primary way to train consistently at the studio.
If you’ve been using non-renewing packages regularly, this is a great time to switch to a monthly subscription so you can keep your momentum without interruptions.
We’ve been adding new classes to the schedule over the past week. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach our exciting summer schedule!

🎭 Step into a masquerade of imagination and transformation as we showcase the talent of our incredible students here at Above Ground Aerial. In this vibrant evening of aerial arts, performers take to the air on silks, lyra, rope, flying pole, and more. From playful comedy to bold vulnerability, this showcase celebrates creativity, storytelling, and the magic of being ourselves.

We’re so excited to officially introduce Asia as our newest instructor as of January! She teaches both Adult Silks and Kids Silks, and she has been such a beautiful addition to our team! 💜
Her adult classes have been completely packed (we love to see it 🙌), so we’re adding another Adult Beginner Silks class on Sundays at 12:30 PM starting tomorrow! If you’ve been trying to get into her class, now’s your chance — spots won’t last long.
More about Asia —
It was her first Cirque du Soleil show that made Asia fall in love with aerial. She loved everything she saw, but the silks routine was her favorite. Then one day, while signing up for a kickboxing class, she noticed they also had a silks program and realized you didn’t have to run away to the circus to do aerial arts. She booked a class in May 2016 and has been hooked ever since.
A dancer at heart, Asia enjoys all forms of movement, but nothing makes her heart sing like dancing through the air. After a few years of practicing silks and sling, she branched out to Lyra and has dabbled in other apparatuses.
Her teaching journey began as the occasional sub, but by 2019 she was a full-fledged aerial teacher. She deeply enjoys showing her love for and sharing her knowledge of aerial arts.
While she seems to always be in the aerial gym, she also finds time to read fantasy, sci-fi, and historical romance books; hand sew historical garments; and spend far too many hours playing board and video games.

Savannah Rose is an editorial fashion & portrait photographer based out of Atlanta. Her creative process begins with natural light, lots of coffee, and thinking outside of the box (or studio so to speak.) While she has a love for natural light, she also studied studio lighting and film photography in her time at the creative circus. Her work has since been featured in magazines such as Vogue, MOEVIR Paris, and Voyage Atl. after graduating in 2022, you can NOW find her behind the lens, or at the barn coaching equestrian vaulting.
🤸♀️ Who’s ready to try TIPPY LYRA with .lyssapate & .epicure ?! We’re rolling out a series in both solo and duo work in this exciting apparatus the entire month of February!

⭕️ More details: tippy lyra is a horizontal hoop suspended from 2 points, allowing it to tilt and move dynamically. In these series, we’ll explore the foundations of this beautiful apparatus, focusing on balance and control as a solo performer and the timing, balance and communication when working with a partner.
Drop-ins are allowed; however, each week builds toward a complete sequence and will result in an optional performance opportunity in our spring showcase. Interested performers must commit by week 2 in the series.
