Today we said goodbye to our adorable pony Gidgette. She was the last remaining horse/pony that helped establish Lieway Hunt Club. Gidgette was such a sweetheart of a pony and helped teach so many young riders over the years before enjoying a long and well deserved retirement. Of the many things that we all learned from Robert it is that you never let an animal suffer. She was getting to the point where it was difficult for her to get around and therefore we made the hard decision to do what was right for Gidgette. She willl be a wonderful addition to pony heaven.

Special thanks to all our Lieway employees who have been dealing with this arctic blast weather. They have been able to get all the horses out for at least a few hours everyday despite the negative wind chills. It’s an amazing team and I am grateful for all of them.

A great day for a Lieway Hunt Club Christmas party. Riding, grazing, and games. Our traditional sock swap which were filled with goodies. Plenty of food and carrots for all 2 legged and 4 legged!
