Dave’s Training Series capped off the first week of training with the Saturday long run! Registration is still open for one more week for you to come out this Thursday at 6:30pm to the Perrysburg Track and/or this Saturday at 7:00am at the Breezeway between Red Robin and Barnes & Nobles at the Shops at Fallen Timbers! If you are looking for a supportive community to not only help you reach the start line but celebrate the finish line, come on out.

The running community lost a true legend today. We are heartbroken by the passing of Walt Churchill, a remarkable community leader and an even better person. Toledo is a better city from having you in it! Thank you for your service and all you have done.

Rounding out our Meet the Coaches is the the trifecta of Dave’s Training!

Coach Bob is a USATF certified coach and Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifier. Coach Bob has coached a variety of runners of all ages, distances, and levels. He brings this knowledge to the plans for Dave’s Training and Personal Training sessions programs.

Coach Joan is a core part of the Northwest Ohio community. From supporting school athletes to our 5k/10k program she is an integral part of Dave’s Training. You can also catch her Wednesdays at 6am at Siegert Lake lot for some

Coach Liz can be seen running around with her camera and assisting on the training programs front. Liz ran track and cross country at Ithaca College with a special love for the 10k and has worked in run specialty for almost 15 years. For those in the remote training, a good portion of you will be corresponding with her over these next several weeks.

Dave’s Training wants to invite those still deciding to get a sneak peak of what the program is all about over these next two weeks. Registration will stay open for two weeks and you can come out to the the Walt Churchill’s Track at Perrysburg High School Thursday at 6:30pm to kick off the in person program!

Thursday is the first time the Dave's Training Series will officially meet. The first two weeks of the program are free to try out and see if you want to be a part of Training the Dave's Way with this awesome community. Come on out to the Perrysburg High School Track at 6:30 PM for some training, learning, and fun!!!

What an incredible success the 41st Toledo Humane Society Annual Bark in the Park was! 🐾 Thank you to everyone who came out and made this long-standing community tradition so special. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the day with their beloved pets.
