TENNIS REMINDER

This coming Friday eve (16th) we are having a couples Tennis and Pickleball night from 6:00-7:30. We will be matching players up in both games for round robin fun. You do not have to play both but both will be happening. Grab a drink at the bar and sign in around 6:00. Sign up on the new SCC calendar or app. Just click on the event then hit the sign-up button.

Ladies,

Our Member Guest Luncheon will take place Friday morning on the 23rd! Check-in will be from 8:30-9:00 with play starting at 9:00. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BRING A GUEST! We will match you up with like ability players for a fun competitive morning of tennis followed by an amazing lunch! Our SCC Club Championship draws will be out soon. For most of the divisions which will be running will have 1 match that needs to be played prior to July 31st. Look for the draw email soon!

It’s not too late to join junior tennis! Our classes start tomorrow and go through the first week of August. Our classes Mondays and Wednesdays are as follows:

10:30-11:15 Red Ball ages 5-6
11:15-12:00 Red Ball ages 7-8
12:15-1:15 Orange Ball 9-10
1:30-3:30 Yellow Ball 11 and up

If you have not signed up yet it’s ok. Just show up tomorrow or Wednesday!

We are also starting our kids matchplay day on Thursdays from 1 to 230. This is a weekly sign up that can be secured by going on the club calendar and signing up. This group is designed for kids who can play sets and are looking for some more competitive play.

Ok..... I hear that it may snow on Friday. Let’s forget about that and know that next week starts the warm weather. That only means that the 2020 SCC summer season will be here before you know it! The club will again have a number of U.S.T.A adult teams. If your interested please leave us a message. The season is now scheduled to start May 26th. The count down is on! Stay safe!!!
