Welp, another year of off-season training in the books! 🔥⚾️
📆 JV/ Varsity Baseball begins on Monday here in CNY, so for many members of the EG Pitching family they’re off to their respective HS teams and eager to show off their hard work and determination.
As the week went along and kids were coming in, it was much more about their preparation and their plans for success in season and in game more than just our regular throwing sessions.
The kids are ready to go, they all have made leaps and bounds with their physical pitching abilities. Most importantly they each have their own plan to handle the mental side of the game, reading hitters, dealing with long innings, adversity with the their pitch arsenal, and things they cannot control. I have no doubt they are prepared. 🧠🧐
The EG pitching family is prepared for everything that may come their way. Of course it might not always go their way- but they know mentally they can handle it because of their preparation this off season has lead them down the path for in season success!
Good Luck Guys!!

‼️The Madness has begun....🔥⚾️
✔️: The College members of the EG Pitching Family have taken off and are back to school ready to compete for their respective colleges. Each pre-season presents something and challenges for those guys as they gear up for the season. Obviously the physical prep is constant with the amount of throwing and lifting and preparation that goes into getting them ready. IMO most importantly is their mentality. Each guy has a different role within their program and they need to prepare for that mentally. There will be some doubt, there will be some bad outings, there will be days their arms don't feel at 100%, but with that they need to prepare mentally to handle those situations and know that they can withstand any challenge and come out on top.
🗣️💭: Having those conversations at the end of each throwing session to key and letting them know how to handle it and what needs to be taken care of mentally in order to have the success they are looking for out of themselves but also for their teams.
✔️: The High School EG Pitching guys are wrapping up their off season build up and mechanical adjustments and are beginning their preparation for the spring and summer seasons. The changes that many of them have made we're working on putting them into practice and creating the muscle memory that allows for success.
🗣️💭: Many of them are seeing results and having success they came into the off season looking for and now will push themselves to become the best versions of themselves. The next few weeks will allow them to continue to prepare and push themselves both physically and mentally for the season and I can't wait to watch them reach their goals!
