We are back for another round! Come join me for a 50-minute boxing-inspired group workout suitable for all fitness levels.

The class includes a warm-up, 10 rounds of punching on the Quiet Punch with active recovery periods, and a cooldown. We’ll use dumbbells, a slam ball, and body weight exercises to get your heart pumping. Group classes are limited to 10 participants, so registration is required. No prior experience is necessary to join.

Group classes are held Monday evenings at 6 pm at Cafe Sankofa, 2323 S. Salina Street and are on a sliding scale. The link to register is in the bio:

Greetings all! Come punch and let loose as we acknowledge the pain, loss and survival of reproductive injustice and build our capacity towards healing! Held by and Bodiedbyeaston, this series includes four free boxing-inspired fitness classes, dialogue, and a public celebration for Black and Q***r bodies to explore and practice our connections to grief, rage and joy.

Using boxing as a tool for expression, we welcome parents/caregivers and their partners, those who are pregnant, hoping to be pregnant, or at least 6-8 weeks postpartum to process our collective grief and anger, and deepen our understanding of the discourse and practices of healing justice.

Come join us, as we aim to create a powerful, shared path toward healing, justice, and liberation that can be felt and experienced as an ongoing practice. We will dedicate a portion of our time to discuss and build our understanding of body-centered healing practices and our approach to well-being through the lens of healing justice.

We crank up the intensity with 9 rounds of boxing fitness workouts.
