Truth Is In The Air …
Join me for an evening of tarot, meditation, and reflection as we explore what season your voice is in and how to work with Tarot as a guide to Truth.
We’ll be working with four tarot archetypes — The Magician, Justice, The Star, and the Queen of Swords — to explore different expressions of clarity, accountability, healing, and authentic voice.
Wednesday, April 29
6–8 PM
Space is limited.

Your voice doesn’t show up the same way every day.
Some days the words arrive clearly and confidently.
Other days you feel yourself holding back…
editing what you really want to say…
or searching for the right moment to speak.
And sometimes you surprise yourself by saying something so direct and honest it shifts the whole room.
None of these are wrong.
They’re simply different ways our voice moves through us.
I’m curious…Which one feels closest to your experience lately?
Drop a number in the comments:
1) I struggle to say what I really mean.
2) I say things impulsively and regret it
3) I am learning to speak with clarity
4) I am learning when silence is wisdom
Personally, I find myself somewhere between 2 and 4 lately.
This recent Mercury retrograde stirred up a lot of small, everyday moments where I’ve been noticing how my voice moves in different situations.
Sometimes I’m in a space where I think I can relax and be completely unfiltered… and then I realize the space wasn’t actually as safe as I thought. I end up feeling exposed or hurt afterward.
It can be exhausting to stay in “practitioner mode” all the time — constantly aware of what you’re saying and how it’s landing.
I’m still learning where the people and places are where I can truly let my guard down. (Aside from my therapist and my husband.)
The collective energy right now is intense. A lot of us are feeling it.
Which number feels closest to you these days?

Last night my mind would not slow down.
I had one of those nights where the thoughts just kept circling.
Questions. Worries. A quiet sense of disappointment with myself.
For most of my life I’ve known that certain health patterns run in my family. I’ve spent years trying to break those cycles through the way I live, eat, move, and care for my nervous system. But sometimes life just brings you things you cannot control.
And while the situation in front of me is very manageable, it still stirred up some unexpected feelings.
Failure.
Grief.
A sense of letting myself down.
Instead of continuing to spiral, I reached for my deck.
I wrote everything down that was racing through my mind in my journal and then pulled this simple spread. Something about putting the questions on paper and letting the cards hold the conversation helped my body settle. Within minutes I felt calmer… and I finally fell asleep.
So I wanted to share the spread here in case anyone else is navigating a moment where your body, your health, or your life path is asking you to pause and listen.
If this spread resonates, save it for the next time life asks you to slow down and listen.

Many women building heart led businesses struggle with their voice in ways that are hard to explain.
They care deeply about their work.
They have meaningful things to say.
But when it comes time to speak clearly, confidently, or consistently, something tightens.
Often this gets interpreted as a visibility issue or a messaging problem.
But for daughters of narcissistic mothers, the roots are frequently much deeper.
When speaking honestly once carried emotional or physical consequences, the nervous system learns to adapt.
You soften your words.
You read the room before speaking.
You question your own perception.
Those patterns can quietly follow you into adulthood and into the way you show up in your work.
The good news is that your authentic voice was never actually lost.
It was just conditioned.
If you want to start exploring how your voice naturally works, I created a free Human Design mini report called Finding Your Authentic Voice.
Just comment "Voice" and I'll send you the link to download yours!

If you host workshops, retreats, or community gatherings (or you’ve been dreaming about creating them) this event might be for you.
The Event Alchemy Dinner is an evening for facilitators and event hosts to connect, exchange ideas, and enjoy a beautiful meal together at Skaneateles Fields.
These kinds of gatherings are always interesting because you never know who you’ll end up sitting next to or what ideas might start to spark in conversation.
I’ll be there Wednesday night and would love to see some familiar faces.
Details and registration link are in my bio.

For a lot of women, speaking their truth isn’t just about communication.
It’s about history.
The moment in childhood when saying the wrong thing brought criticism.
The times your emotions were called “too much.”
The subtle signals that it was safer to soften, edit, or stay quiet.
Over time, many of us learned to shape our voices around what felt safest in the room we were in.
And the tricky thing is… those patterns can stay with us long after the environment that created them is gone.
This is where I love bringing Human Design into voice work.
Because your voice isn’t random.
Your timing, your energy and the way expression moves through your system actually follow a pattern.
Some people are designed to speak spontaneously.
Some people need the right moment or invitation.
Some people process internally before words arrive.
When we understand those mechanics, something inside us can let go and soften.
Instead of trying to force ourselves to communicate the “right” way, we begin to understand how our voice naturally works.
This is the work we’ll be exploring inside Designed to Speak throughout the month of March inside the Elevate Community.
Instead of a one-day workshop, we’ll move through the process slowly over four live calls with time to reflect and integrate in between.
Our first call is Tuesday at 7:30pm.
If your voice has been asking for a little more space lately, I’d love to explore this with you.
