Day 2 Regional Championship results: The Lazers completed a 10 stroke comeback at the final round of the NJCAA Div 3 Reg 3 championship. The Lazers shot a team score of 323 to win the regional championship by 11 strokes over Niagara Community College at Glen Oak golf course. With winning the regional tournament, the Lazers will continue their season as advanced to the NJCAA Division III national championships at Chautauqua golf club during the week of June 5th. Coach Ben Herrmann and Chase Parzych we’re awarded region coach of the year.

Day 1 of the regional championship: After one day of play, the Lazers are in a tight race for the regional championship. The Lazers finished with a team score of 336, which places them in 4th but only 10 strokes back at the halfway point. Julian Galletta lead the Lazers at Glen Oak Golf Course with a score of 77, following Julian was Billy Guild 83, Mason Ellis 87, Kobe Myers 89 and Daniel Angelo 89. The Lazers will look to have a strong day 2 in a regional tournament that will surely come down to the wire.

Shooting 324, the Lazers tied for 1st but won in a tiebreaker at Mohawk Valley’s Hawk Invitational at Oneida Community Golf Club.

The Lazers finished their first weekend of tournaments at home today. The Lazers improved their score from yesterday with a team score of 312, good for a 2nd place finish. Sophomore Julian Galletta lead the way with a round of +2, 74. Billy Guild shot 78, Darin Townsend 80 and Kobe Myers 80. Mason Ellis 82, Daniel Angelo 85, Dante Cassella 86, Kwinn Caputo 98 and Nathan Hoover 125 also competed. The Lazers will continue their season Friday at MVCC invitational at Oneida Community golf club. ⛳️

First tournament in the books! The Lazers shot a team score of 318 at Elm Tree golf club to win the Tompkins Cortland Panther invitational. The Lazers will look to defend our home tournament tomorrow afternoon at Sunset Ridge! ⛳️
