Hi Everybody,

I'm cancelling the Thursday night's west coast swing lessons and dance on August 27th and September 3rd, in lieu of some extended vacation time. It's also a busy time for most people leading up to and around Labor Day,

Lessons and dances will resume on September 10th. I'll have a full schedule of lessons and rotating dj's out soon. I'm thrilled that the Thursday night community dances have been well attended this summer, and I hope we continue the momentum into the fall season with your help. I've offered lessons spots before the dance to many local and regional dance teachers, and I hope to expand the list in the near future.

Jane Lu taught a very impressive wcs class on connection last Thursday. I hope to have her back in the spring.

This Thursday's class will be taught by me. The lesson starts at 7pm and you must be comfortable in the basics. The dance starts at 8pm and I'll be the dj.

Swing Dance Alley will be open for a half hour practice session tomorrow (8/13) from 6:30pm - 7:00pm before Jane Lu's class.

Jane Lu is teaching and DJing this Thursday at 7pm. The class description is below, and you must know the basics. The cost is $10.00. The dance starts at 8pm and cost $5.00.
