This past weekend was quite busy for the Deep Stop team. Over the weekend Instructors certified two new SDI Open Water divers. Both Kelly and Beth did great! In addition, two students were certified as SDI Research Divers. Congratulations to Erin and Jason!

We also had several students from SUNY ESF who are currently enrolled in the SDI Open Water Diver and SDI Dry Suit Diver complete their final pool session in preparation to head to the lake in the coming weeks!

🚨 BIG NEWS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY DIVING IN CENTRAL NEW YORK! 🚨

Congratulations to Chris Ryan, Anthony Sterio, and Bill Andersen on earning their ERDI Instructor ratings this past weekend!

Training was conducted in Scranton, PA, by Fred Bales and his team, from Like ‘da Fish, LLC.

Bringing this training to Deep Stop Scuba means public safety teams throughout Central New York can now develop and strengthen these specialized capabilities right here in our region.
