Choices for your fitness, can be exhausting, overwhelming, and at times intimidating...only you can decide what keeps you going...
Me? I choose fun, a sense of humor and laughter!

Sooo which do you choose?

Do you drop a dumbbell on your toe, question your life choices, and secretly hope no one heard the massive clang or crying sounds in the corner? Or do you get on a stationary bike, turn the resistance up to what feels like climbing Mount Everest, and start to cry exactly 3 minutes in....

Do you choose Free weights, or a Cardio machine... you can choose both....

Let us know....and make it a great day!

Moooove over....who doesn't love a good ole chunk of cheese to nibble...June 4 is National Cheese Day! No, it's not where you walk around telling people to say "cheese", I guess you could but don't please! It's actually National Cheese Day...An encyclopedia of cheese will cover the alphabet and broaden your vocabulary. It will undoubtedly contain more varieties of cheese than what's found at the local grocery store.

Rich, creamy, and endlessly versatile, cheese is on many peoples’ list of favorite foods. You may use it to make an appetizer platter. Or it could be a topping for pasta. In all ways, cheese adds a savory, rich flavor to your favorite dishes. And it adds some protein to your diet.

Enjoy your day...

Let's get together...Full Body Flex...has begun...

06/02/2026

Well...if your definition of a workout is a high-intensity, sweaty, all-out gym workout, then NO, you shouldn’t be working out every day!

That said, how many times a week you should get sweaty depends on your goals (and, to some degree) preferences.

Here's the low-down of working out every day—
You want to know how much exercise is ideal?
Well...the golden rule is to achieve 150 minutes of moderate-intensity, or 75 minutes of high-intensity cardio, and at least two strength training sessions a week. Wow…it sounds like a lot written that way, but when you break it down you can cover your moderate-intensity cardio with a brisk 20-minute walk per day, or a 30-minute walk five days out of the week. That could be part of your lunch break, or a nice after-dinner adventure!
That said, your ideal amount of exercise will depend on your goals…

Have a burning question?
Want answers?
Just ask it, and make it a great day!

Hmmm...Jump ropes and battle ropes are both highly effective fitness tools, but they serve different goals! Jump ropes are ideal for building cardio, agility, and footwork while using your entire lower body. Jumping rope reminds me of my youth...outdoors during the summer...
The Pros: Jump ropes are highly portable, inexpensive, and require virtually no space. Plus, 10 minutes of jumping can yield similar cardiovascular benefits to a 30-minute jog.

Then there's Battle ropes that focus on upper-body strength, power, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) while remaining low-impact on your joints (well, except your shoulders).

The Pros: Low-impact but highly strenuous. It isolates and exhausts the arms, back, and shoulders incredibly fast without straining your knee or ankle joints.

Which do you prefer? Jumping rope like a child having fun? Or feeling like a warrior that can do battle?
