Afton Motorsports Park 5/30/26 recap:

The track was absolutely beautiful, great job to the staff for putting that together for all the racers. Even after the Crates, Factory stocks and Modifieds the track held together beautifully for the Mini Mods. No big bumps, no holes, grip high and low, well done.

After 30+ years of being out of the car, the boss wants to have a little fun. The cat is out of the bag, Tiger Smith making his 2026 debut did not dissapoint! Tiger went P6 to P4 in the heat. TJ went P4 to P2

Handicap was in effect TJ started P5 and Tiger Started P7. To play it safe Tiger elected to start tail, he avoided a few close calls and made a few passes and ended his night P4! TJ went P5 to P2.

All in all a great night for Smith Racing. We gotta thank the fans for coming out, the support in the pits and all our loyal sponsors, see ya next week!

Great night overall. Had a great pull out of the gate that started us P1 in the second heat, finished P1

Drew P2 for the feature and finished P2. Need to change a few things but we will be back at it next week.

5/2 Afton Motorsports Park recap

Track tough for the small cars. There was alot of casualties. We loaned out our backup cars and both made it through without serious damage.

Started 6th in the 3rd heat and finished 4th. Last guy to make the redraw and the only chip left was number 12! We battled our way up to 5th eventually but the track conditions beat me up pretty good and I really struggled hanging on to the wheel. We started falling off the pace and got passed with a few to go. We finished 6th out of 23 cars that signed in.

Not a bad night considering all the bad luck the other teams had.

Wishing a big happy birthday to our driver, who gets to celebrate behind the wheel today doing what he loves most 🏁🥳

Locked and loaded for season opener at Afton Motorsports Park

Recap from 4/24/26 The Hill Speedway

21 cars signed in, we drew well and started P3 in heat 1 of 3.
Didn't want to push the issue to hard and wad any metal so we drove pretty conservatively and finished P5.

We made minior adjustments for the feature. Started P13, cars slowly started falling off and we made it to P9 before getting a really good restart that shot us up to 5th. Another caution came out and we ended up spitting the chain going in to turn 1. Left the track with a DNF P14. Could have been alot worse. Car is in one piece and we will get set up for this Saturday at Afton.

Came down to The Hill Speedway for thier opening night. Not off to a great start, between fuel prices and 80 bucks to get my 3 and 8 year old in this might be our only time down here this year. Hopefully we can draw good and recoup some of the damages!

A sight we dont get to see very often, cars are ready for battle. Season opener at Afton Motorsports Park next Saturday.
