Time to talk about Step 2 of getting your finances in order. Step 2 is paying off all of your debt using the Snowball Method. The snowball method is paying off your debts from the smallest to the largest. Do not worry about the interest rates. Starting with the smallest debt builds momentum and is a huge confidence booster when a debt is paid in full.

How many here are familiar with the 7 baby steps? Did you know that many people think they are on step 2 of paying off debt, but in reality never make it to this step because they do not have an Emergency Fund set up?
Having this fund will help you not rely on credit cards or borrowing money when an emergency arrives. Once all or part of it is used, rebuild the fund. Once debt is paid off, you will build this fund to expand over 6 months to a year.
