This is our second year participating in the E-bike Rebate program. It’s a lottery system that’ll have drawings from now until this time next year (you only need to apply once) and if chosen you’ll receive either a $300 or $1,200 voucher (depending on income) toward a new e-bike.

IT’S BACK! Applications are NOW OPEN for e-bike rebates through WE-Bike, Washington’s statewide e-bike rebate program.

Starting today, Washingtonians ages 16+ can apply for rebates to help reduce the upfront cost of an e-bike. Apply anytime before March 29th, 2027 on our WE-Bike program application website, which features answers to frequently asked questions about the application.

After a successful pilot run in 2025, WE-Bike is back with more funding, a longer application window and a simpler application process.

These rebates are not first-come, first-served; however, the earlier you apply, the more chances you’ll have to be selected in the monthly drawing. It might not be a race, but everyone loves a good head start!

It has officially been one year since Bike Box opened its doors. Since then we have serviced over 400 bikes, sold 40 or so e-bikes and adopted 4 brands.
Starting January 2026, we’ll be expanding into a bigger space in Freighthouse Square.

The idea has always been to cater to commuters using the Sounder but we’re trying to gauge how much of a demand there is to be open at 5am.
