✨NEW COACH ALERT✨
Please let’s all give a warm welcome to Bob Karl‼️✨
Coach Bob (age 80) will be taking over the Gold group, which trains Mondays through Fridays from 5:15pm (excluding Wednesdays) and on Saturdays from 10:15am.
Just some fun facts about coach Bob.
-He has been a swim coach for 61 yrs
-TWO of his former swimmers in the swimming hall of Fame.
-Bob was also the captain of his college swimming team for 2 years back in the 1960s!
Let’s give Coach Bob a biiiiig Club Seminole welcome‼️

Congratulations to Dr. Liang the father to two of our Club Seminole Swimmers, Angela and Adam‼️
FSU materials researcher named to National Academy of Inventors✨🤩
Richard Liang is the director of the High-Performance Materials Institute and a professor at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
A Florida State University researcher has been named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for his innovative work with carbon nanotubes and other composite materials.
The NAI announced that Richard Liang would be a part of the 2021 class, which will be inducted in June 2022. Liang holds 36 patents for his work with carbon nanotubes, new methodologies for creating useful nanotube films and composite materials, high-strength nanocomposites and energy devices. He regularly solves real-world problems with these technologies, such as studying ultra high-strength composites for NASA applications and high thermal conductive structural composites for electronics and aerospace applications.

It’s the most festive time of the year‼️🌲🍽✨⛄️. So, December can be a crazy month of holidays.
Here is the adjusted schedule for this month!
▪️Monday, December 13 through Tuesday, December 21 - practices will continue on as normal.
▪️Wednesday, December 22 through Wednesday, December 29 - Morcom will be closed so no Club Seminole practices
▪️Thursday, December 30 and Friday, December 31 - normal practice schedule.
▪️Saturday, January 1, 2022 - no Club Seminole practice
▪️Monday, January 3, 2022 - resume normal practice schedule.
