Tomorrow evening these 6 amazing students will test for the title of Junior Blackbelt.
UKC is not an organization that easily awards the title of Blackbelt; in fact, these young men and women have been students for quite a few years.
The journey is unique for each participant. What a privilege it is to teach and observe the growth for each one and now come to this monumental time of testing and recognition.
It will be an emotional day for us all to observe them reach for their dream of Blackbelt and the culmination of years of hard work.
The joy of it is...they begin again.
It is now a way of life and not just a hobby they took up as a small child. In the life of a true martial artist, this is where the real knowledge will begin to unfold.
McKenzie Kilcullen, Mitchell Kilcullen, Gage Wilkinson, Riley Wilkinson, Jacob Clark and Conner Holmes will put everything on the line.
Please be in prayer for them as they prepare to undertake this challenge. If you would like to come out and cheer them on, they test tomorrow at 5:30 PM in the dojo at the Northside Community Center. Doors will open at 5:20 PM.

September was a special month at UKC Kids.
These students passed their Red/Black Belt test last week and the next test for them is BLACKBELT!!
We are alittle excited over these special kids, they have been training with UKC for quite some time and have stayed the course.
Look at the baby faces from when they first began and look at them now!

Congratulations Lily and Abbey!! They both advanced in rank tonight. We wouldn’t expect any less since dad is a Master and mom is one of our treasured blackbelts!
