Chaires Capitola Little League

Chaires Capitola Little League Baseball league chartered by Little League International for kids aged 4-16 in southeastern Leon county Florida.

During the Spring 2021 Season, we fielded 24 teams, made up of more than 350 players, managers, and coaches. We fielded 5 Tee-Ball teams (ages 4-5) 7 Machine Pitch teams (ages 6-8), 6 Minor League teams (ages 9-10), 5 Major League teams (ages 11-12) and 1 Senior League team (age 13-16). During the 2021 Fall Season, we fielded 14 teams that were made up of almost 300 players, managers, and coaches. We fielded 5 Tee-Ball teams, 7 Machine Pitch teams, 5 Minor League teams and 5 Major League teams. We also fielded four All Star teams in the Spring and continued our winning tradition in District 20, which encompasses most of Leon County, by winning 3 All Star tournaments (Minors, Intermediate, and Majors). In addition, our Intermediate and Majors teams claimed the Section 1 Championship and moved on to the State Championship. With Chaires’ reputation as one of the premier leagues in the region, we are looking forward to continuing to provide a fun and safe environment for our players!

The Chaires 12u All Stars’ historic season has come to a close. And what a run it was!

These boys played with all of their hearts - playing for each other and playing for our town. As special as they are on the field, it’s who they are as people that makes us proudest — the way they genuinely care about each other, celebrate each other, always push themselves to work harder, and carry themselves with kindness, character and class.

From all of Chaires, thank you to the Green Machine - you inspired us, gave our young players heroes to look up to, and made an entire community believe.

While these boys’ Little League journeys are coming to a close, every one of their stories is just beginning. We will always remember the light they shined at Chaires, and look forward to seeing these All Stars shine bright as they open their next chapters and chase their next dreams.

A huge thank you to our community for all of your support along the way. We couldn’t have done it without you! And, to our coaches - Aleck Del Prado, Matt Prowant, Kyle Pawelczyk and Brad Bikus - thank you for giving these boys your time, your belief, and your best, and for leading them on a journey that forever changed what’s possible. As many of you close your own chapters as Chaires coaches, thank you for the clear impact you’ve had on so many Chaires players throughout the years, and for your tremendous roles in helping the league make history.
