We had an incredible weekend at the 18th Annual Marvin Overby Memorial Sport Tournament! Competitors bowled in singles, doubles and team play, honoring Marvin Overby’s lasting impact on bowling at Florida State.

Congratulations to Nicole Kamburian and Jared Fantle, recipients of the Marvin Overby Memorial Scholarship. With the highest attendance in tournament history, we are so grateful to everyone who made it such a special event.

Update! πŸ“£ The Verity Crawley Coaching Clinic originally scheduled for Fri., Feb. 13 at Bowling & Billiards has been postponed.

The event will be rescheduled for the fall semester, and a new date will be shared once it becomes available.

Blown away at the growth of these young men and women. Varsity men went back to back 1st places this weekend!!!! πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…Connor 1st place All Tournament Team again!

JV men: 1st place then second place!

Varsity women: 4th place both days and very close to third! The majority of these ladies started bowling in October!!

Now it's time to get ready for sectionals in March! Post season, here we come!

Join us Fri., Feb. 13 at the FSU Student Union Bowling and Billiards for two coaching clinic sessions with Verity Crawley who holds multiple Professional Women’s Bowling Assoc. (PWBA) titles and is a British Tenpin Bowling Assoc. (BTBA) Female Bowler of the Year in 2022 and 2025. 🎳

SESSION 1️⃣: 10 a.m. – Noon
SESSION 2️⃣: 1 – 3 p.m.
12 spots available for each session.

Cost: $125 per person which includes a $25 Bowling & Billiards Pro Shop gift certificate. Open to everyone. Payments must be prepaid by Feb. 10, 2026 and Venmo () and Zelle options are available.
