Zouk Happy Hour is back tonight. This is the last week to join the cycle. We are offering a 6 session Brazilian Zouk training with Amy and Sy. Start your weekend dancing. This is a beginner friendly class to learn the basics of Brazilian Zouk. The dates are September 25, October 23, October 30, November 6, December 1, and December 11. It is $70 for 6 sessions. We will only take 10 leads and 10 follows for the program. Grab your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and let’s learn together!

Intermediate salsa class is a vibe. Last night, we made sure to include redirections and a little afro. We did the redirections because we use them in partnerwork and it is a reminder to push off instead of placing that heel on the floor. The heel is a brake. As an instructor, I move around the class to spread excitement and so others can see movements. When we are introduced to new movements I make an effort to include them in our program for increased muscle memory. We added a little afro at the end just for you Marcos Antonio

Sometimes you learn movements in class and you never learn how to put them together outside of class. The follow may learn the class pattern but does not know how to respond to it outside of class. As a result, it is good to add social dancing in class and choose a couple of movements that should be included. Let's watch you put it together on the spot. See you at 8 pm.
