Shortly after the wrap-up of the 2023 event, I began searching for information on the development at and around the intersection of Ox Bottom Rd and Thomasville Rd. There is still much uncertainty surrounding the plans for re-aligning the intersection of Ox Bottom Rd with Velda Dairy Rd. I have chosen not to go forward with the 2024 race rather than having a potential last minute course change or cancellation. Additionally, reserving Maclay Gardens, as well as securing a timer, must be completed no later than June. The lack of transparency by the developer and the City of Tallahassee prevented a plan being put in place in a timely manner, therefore there will be no 2024 Red Hills Triathlon. Thank you for your past participation!

As you unpack from the weekend, please check your bags for a pair of "Form Smart Swim Goggles" The owner was racked around #479 in transition and they were inadvertently picked up by someone. He will pay shipping to get them back. Pic is stock photo of the goggles.
