Tallmadge Recreation Center The Tallmadge Recreation Department is proud to offer organized and self-directed recreational opportunities for all ages.

Tallmadge Recreation Department includes the Tallmadge Recreation Center, Maca Aquatic Center and several area parks, playgrounds and green spaces. The Tallmadge Recreation Department is a part of the City of Tallmadge Service Department and strives to offer the best programs, facilities and services to its members and taxpayers.

The kiddos don't have school on various days throughout the school year. What are you going to do? Send them to our No School Days and Holiday Break Camps at the Rec Center for active fun! These days for ages 5-13 include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

💲$40 per day per resident child, $50 per day per non-resident child

The City of Tallmadge held a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Sunday to celebrate the new playground at Howe Road Park.

A special thank you to the Lyons family. The new playground equipment was made possible, in part, through generous memorial donations made in memory of Matthew “Matt” Lyons, a former Tallmadge resident and 2001 graduate of Tallmadge High School. A portion of the playground was dedicated in Matt’s memory as a lasting tribute to his life, his love of the outdoors, and the joy he brought to others.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this project possible. We look forward to seeing children and families enjoy Howe Road Park and create memories for years to come!
