Talk with your children, your nieces and nephews, your grandchildren, or other youngsters in your lives about why it’s important to vote and what issues you’re paying attention to. A lot of children (and adults for that matter) don’t see the connections between their lives and politics and government. Sadly, many believe that many issues are out of their control and don’t see the power of voting. Show them how you’re walking in your power as a voter in a democracy so that they can follow in your footsteps.

Excercise your right to vote as if future depended on it. Because it does!
