Last week, for our coaches meeting we spent some time talking about positive coaching and shared a few core concepts from the Positive Coaching Alliance and challenged our coaches to take a deeper look at what it means to Honor the Game and help take back youth sports.
Because the way we coach matters and the experience we create for our players matters. It starts with us.

This summer we hosted our annual Tee Ball Bash, to let more kids enjoy the opportunity to make friends and learn the game. It reminded us that the biggest wins don't always happen on the field, sometimes they are found in simple moments like this. Thank you to the Tampa Tarpons and for King Ripple for helping capture the spirit of our league.

Tomorrow, as the Little League World Series begins in Williamsport, visitors to the Little League Museum will see a special pin donated by Maite Castillo during her visit this summer for the Maria Pepe Legacy Series. A small pin with a big story is now part of Little League history. ⚾❤️

Tonight we close registration. The team formation process will begin shortly thereafter, which will take roughly 10-14 days. The league is almost ready to welcome 330 kids and nearly 30 teams this fall. If the child is 7 and in the coach pitch division, they should tryout.

Yeah… us too. 😂
BUT… we want to see all the kids back on the fields this fall or even the new families, and sometimes parents just need a friendly little nudge… or maybe a coach’s pep talk to finally get that registration done.
Fall registration closes Friday, August 14. That’s just 3 days away.
If you haven’t signed your player up yet, take a few minutes and get it done before the deadline sneaks up on you.
