We often think avoiding criticism and seeking praise are completely different things, but underneath both can be the same question: “What do other people think of me?”

If criticism makes you question your worth and praise is what makes you feel worthy, your sense of self is still being influenced by other people’s opinions. That can make even everyday decisions exhausting because you’re constantly wondering if you’ve said the right thing, made the right choice or disappointed someone. Self-trust doesn’t mean you stop caring what other people think. It means their opinion doesn’t become the final authority on how you feel about yourself.

Not knowing exactly what comes next doesn’t mean you’re lost.
Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to have a plan(!), make the right decision(!!) and know where we’re heading that we forget that life doesn’t always work that way(!!!).

Especially when you’re in the middle of a big transition, clarity can take time. You might know that something needs to change without knowing exactly what the next step looks like yet.

And that’s okay.

You don’t need to have the whole chapter figured out before you turn the page. Give yourself permission to pause, pay attention to what’s changing, and get curious about what you want now. Sometimes the next step becomes clearer once you stop trying to figure out the entire path at once.

I’ve said this a million times this week… you’re allowed to want more for your life!!

More alignment, more peace, more honesty, and more room to be yourself.

That doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful for what you have, and it doesn’t mean you need to blow up your entire life tomorrow!

Sometimes it simply means being honest with yourself about what no longer fits. Maybe it’s the career that looked perfect on paper, the relationship you’ve outgrown, or the version of yourself you’ve been trying so hard to maintain. You’re allowed to acknowledge that something isn’t right for you anymore. You don’t need to stay somewhere simply because you once wanted it.

There's your lil pep talk from me, for this week.

I know how tempting it is to replay the past and wonder what you should have done differently. Why did I say that? Why didn’t I speak up sooner? What if I had made a different decision? But no amount of replaying the moment will give you a different outcome.

You can learn from what happened without continuing to punish yourself for it. The version of you who made that decision had the information, experience and perspective she had at the time.

Take the lesson, own what’s yours, and make a different choice if you need to. But you don’t have to keep living in a moment that has already passed.

There’s something powerful about not needing to be perfect before you allow yourself to be fully seen. You don’t need to have the perfect answer, always get it right, or have everything figured out before you can show up as yourself. When you stop believing you need to earn your worth, there’s more room for honesty, vulnerability and authenticity. You don’t have to become a better version of yourself before you’re enough. You already are.

Nobody really talks about the messy middle.
That space where the old version of your life doesn't quite fit anymore… but the new one hasn't taken shape yet.
You might feel uncertain.
A little lost.
Excited one day and completely overwhelmed the next.
And you may find yourself thinking, “I just want to get through this part.”
But what if you didn't have to rush it?
The messy middle can also be a space to pause.
To reconnect with yourself.
To ask what actually matters to you now.
To notice what you want more of and what you're ready to leave behind.
You don't have to know exactly who you're becoming yet.
This chapter won't last forever. And you don't need to have the next one figured out today. 🤍

Ever received ONE piece of criticism and suddenly forgotten every positive thing anyone has ever said about you? 🙋‍♀️

Sometimes it’s not the feedback itself that hurts - it’s the story we attach to it.

“What if they’re right?”
“Maybe I’m not good enough.”
“Maybe everyone thinks this about me.”

The next time criticism really gets under your skin, pause and ask:

What am I making this mean about me?

Feedback can be useful information. But it doesn’t get to define your worth.

Sometimes what we need isn’t another thing to add to the list. It’s space to pause, reflect and ask ourselves what we actually want now.

My client came to me feeling unfilfilled in her career, carrying personal loss and work stress, and knowing she needed a reset.

As she put it, “I needed to pause and reflect on who I was and rediscover what I wanted out of life”.

That’s such an important part of navigating a major life transition! You don’t always need to have the next ten years mapped out. Sometimes the first step is simply creating enough space to hear yourself again.

Sometimes we fall in love with the version of someone we believe they could become.
The potential.
The promises.
The “once they…”
The person we hope they’ll eventually be.
But there’s a difference between loving someone for who they are and loving the possibility of who they might become.
So instead of asking yourself, “Could they be the person I want them to be?” try asking:
“Who are they showing me they are right now?”
Pay attention to the patterns. The actions. The consistency. The way they treat you when things aren’t easy.
You don’t have to make someone into the person you’re hoping they’ll become in order to justify staying.
Sometimes the clarity you’re looking for is already in what they’re showing you.

A little mindset reset, whenever you need it. ✨

I’ve been using affirmations for almost 10 years! And sometimes I look at my life now and can’t quite believe how much of what I once hoped for has become my reality. ✨

I started a new career I love.
Built my own business (in multiple countries!).
Moved countries twice.
Created a life I told feel like I need a vacation from !!

And perhaps most importantly, I’ve become so much more confident in myself and the decisions I make 💪🏻

Affirmations aren’t magic - but the words we repeatedly speak to ourselves matter.

They’ve been a powerful part of shifting my mindset, challenging old beliefs and staying connected to the life I want to create.

So I put together 100 of my favourites for you.
