Machines aren’t always babe vibe for me when it comes to my cardio. Prior to making it a daily start to my day I would usually do my cardio in ways that I enjoyed. I looked forward to doing it more, I brought more energy to it while I was doing it, and I always left feeling great afterwards.

HIIT Circuits are a great way to increase your muscle endurance to finish off your session, just take 3-5 movements(one should be a core exercise)
Set all the weights relatively light, set a time for 6-8 minutes and get as many rounds as you possibly can non stop. 

EMOM is also great option, simply take a compound movement at a weight that you’re able to perform an easy 15-20 reps. Set a timer for 6 minutes, and bang out 10 clean reps, you have a minute to complete the 10 reps, the remainder of the minute is your rest time. So if it takes you 30 seconds to complete, you have 30 seconds to rest, if it takes you 40 seconds to complete, you have 20 seconds to rest. Make sure you’re selecting I’ve about your weight selection, you want clean and efficient reps.

Can never go wrong with sprints, I usually like to add them ti an upper body session, especially a back/pull day. You can use a treadmill, band sprints, or a track if you have access to one. If you’re a beginner you can do 15 seconds on, 45 seconds rest for 6 minutes, if you’re advanced you can take it for 20 seconds and get at least 8 rounds.

Remember cardio is an ADDITIONAL TOOL, not the main focus if your goal is to see changes to your physique. 05/29/2023
