If anyone is able to contribute to Frankie's Friends, they are an absolutely wonderful organization (saved my Dexter's life!). Some of us have been luckier than others this time around, and there may be animals that were left in shelters while people evacuated, and many families will be left in financial distress while their beloved pets have illnesses and injuries they could normally afford and now can't. Everything is just a mess, and I'm sure this wonderful group could use some help right now.
Checking in: how is everyone after Hurricane Helene? You guys okay? If you see a rescue or shelter that needs help as a result of the storm, tag them in the comments and let us know.
