Sometimes the best way for us to get things done… is together.

Whether it’s homework, chores, emails, or life tasks body doubling helps both of our ADHD brains stay focused, motivated, and less overwhelmed.

A lot of times when clients reach out to me, they are unsure what type of coach they actually need or what my role truly is.

That’s why I believe it’s important to educate people on the different types of coaches.

Also, anyone can call themselves a “coach.”
So credentials, training, education, ethics, and real experience should matter.

Over the last 5+ years, I have intentionally invested in becoming the best coach and support possible for my clients. I want them to KNOW they are receiving quality support backed by education, training, results, and real-life experience.

✨ My background includes:
• 5 years direct coaching experience
• Certified Executive Function Specialist
• CTA Certified Life Coach
• Required ADHD coach training and hours
• Master’s Degree in Education
• Currently pursuing my MSW at Florida State University
• 10+ years in corporate leadership, coaching, and employee development
• 3 years combined Reading intervention/tutoring experience helping students strengthen skills and confidence

I combine professional knowledge with lived experience as both an adult with ADHD and a parent raising a child with ADHD. 💛

A BIG Thank you to everyone who trusts me to walk alongside them in their journey.

Happy Friday! 💛📚

As both an ADHD & Executive Function Coach and a reading interventionist at an elementary school, I’ve had the opportunity to witness how much pressure both kids and teachers are carrying right now.

Between testing, scores, classroom behaviors, emotions, overwhelm, and life outside of school many kids are navigating more than we sometimes realize. Often, behaviors are communication not simply “bad behavior.”

One thing I always encourage parents to ask is:
💭 “What might my child be feeling underneath the behavior I see?”

Kids need support, connection, encouragement, and understanding especially during stressful end of the school year seasons like this.

And teachers?
They are carrying so much while continuing to show up every day to encourage, teach, support, and care for our children. 🍎

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to an end, I just want to say THANK YOU to all the incredible educators pouring into students daily. Your patience, compassion, and dedication matter more than you know.

This weekend:
💛 Celebrate your child’s efforts big and small
💛 Give grace they are navigating a lot
💛 Slow down and connect
💛 And remember to celebrate teachers too!

We’re all navigating this together.

Emotional meltdowns can be uncomfortable to navigate as a parent.

I know I felt like if I didn’t fix it or stop it fast, I was failing. I worried people were judging how I handled it. And when my reactions made things worse, I would respond with bigger tones, bigger energy, and bigger emotions which only escalated his.

But once I became an ADHD Coach and truly understood what happens in the ADHD brain during meltdowns my perspective changed and my parenting skills grew.

I stopped trying to fix my child’s meltdown.

Old me:
➡️ Lectured
➡️ Tried to fix it fast
➡️ Made threats when it backfired

New me:
✨ Sat down
✨ Stayed quiet
✨ Just was there

I realized that my actions and responses could give him space and help him find calm.

And honestly? Even as adults, some of us are still learning how to navigate our own emotions which can add to the challenge of being quiet and being there for your child in those uncomfortable moments. 💛

I used to fill the car ride home with questions about school, homework, and tests but my son taught me something different.

The power of 15 minutes to decompress —
no talking, no pressure, no demands, just time for his brain as well as mine to shift gears after a long day.

15 minutes of silence for us equals regulation, better communication, and a less irritable version of ourselves

Relaxation vs Interrogation ❤️
