ROWING TIPS! Save these for
your next class!
1. Use your LEGS for power. While rowing is a full body workout, 60% of the power is from your legs. You'll row faster and get better results from leading with the legs, then moving your core, and ending with your arms.
2. Sit up straight. Rowing with a hunched or rounded back puts immense amounts of strain on your back and cause injury.
3. Don't grip too hard. Over gripping causes undue tension and strain through the arms and shoulders. Your fingers should be comfortably wrapped around the grip with the
thumbs underneath with your wrists staying flat throughout
the entire stroke cvcle.
