When the National Golf Course Owners Association presented Renee at the 2026 PGA Merchandise Show with
the Merit Award,
the NGCOA association’s most prestigious honor — the room rose in two separate standing ovations.

It was a powerful tribute to a woman whose family and life’s work has shaped the game through courage, leadership, and unwavering dedication.

The Merit Award recognizes individuals who have made significant, long-term contributions to the game of golf.

Renee Powell’s impact spans generations. From Clearview’s fairways to the global stage, her legacy continues to inspire and uplift.
