Last week I asked for you guys to list off some things to do in the current situation that don’t involve eating or drinking- planting a garden was one of them!
I’m a huuuge plant girl so I was super excited to start a lil veg and herb garden, if you have any tips or tricks on gardening and keep your plants alive let me know cause ya girl does NOT have a green thumb.

🚨 mental health rant 🚨

Illness is defined as a period of sickness affecting the body or mind.... body OR mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we have the flu we call out of work. When someone breaks their arm we line up to sign the cast. When someone has surgery we send “get well” cards and flowers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But when you haven’t seen your coworker who suffers from depression in weeks, or your best friend leaves a party because he/she was having a panic attack.... we have NO idea what to do or say to make it better.... maybe it even makes us a little uncomfortable so we choose to not say anything at all.

1 in 4 people suffer from a mental disorder at some point in their lives... how many of your friends are at risk? How many family members?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let’s line up for those people the way we do when someone comes down with the flu... lets offer the bandaids, the soup, the support, the long talks that they may need. You never know the positive impact you could be making on someones mental health with just with ONE tiny gesture.
