Friends, one of our swim school families lost their home to a fire in the middle of the night, just two days after Christmas. They made it out safely, but lost nearly everything 😭

The immediate needs are clothing & personal items. For the sake of convenience, we are asking for gift cards to: Target, Publix, WalMart, and Uber Eats.

If you’re in Tampa or the surrounding area, we are happy to come pick up any gift cards you’re able to provide. If you’re not local, but still want to help, please send us a private message!!

**COVID-19 UPDATE**

In accordance with Mayor Castor’s new guidelines, we will be requiring ALL parents/caretakers to wear a mask while inside the swim school. We are still limiting patrons to one parent/caretaker per child, and will continue to allow parents/caretakers to wait in their vehicle during the lesson, if needed.

**OPENING MONDAY**
Swim lessons will resume Monday 5/18 as part of the state of FL reopening plan. We will be following strict CDC guidelines, and will have procedures in place both for instructors and families to follow, to ensure the safety and health of all individuals. Please see below:

*a hand cleaning station will be placed outside for all patrons to sanitize their hands before entering

*all chairs have been placed six feet apart in our waiting area, and must be cleaned after each use

*all toys have been removed from the play area

*instructors will be teaching in masks

*only one adult/family member may accompany their swimmer

*if your child has siblings that must accompany you to the lesson, we ask that you please wait in your vehicle during the lesson, and your child’s instructor will notify you when the lesson is over

*if you or your child have exhibited symptoms of any kind, please stay home, and let your instructor know. We will get you rescheduled when you/your child are healthy

Your instructor will contact you individually regarding scheduling/additional questions.

We have missed you all SO much and look forward to seeing you next week!

We SO appreciate all of you that have reached out and asked how to help our beloved small business. We can’t begin to explain how grateful we are for you during these uncertain times.
Moving forward, the best way to support STSS and our instructors would be to purchase your next package of lessons in advance. We have also received donations which will help tremendously! These options will allow for overhead and employee paycheck needs to be met.

We will keep everyone updated on any adjustments/closures in the days to come. In the meantime, please keep ALL locally owned business in your thoughts. It’s heartbreaking that so many small businesses in our community are at risk of losing everything.

Hi All,
We wanted to provide an update on how we will be moving forward with swim lessons during this time.

🔹We WILL remain open for the time being
🔹 All toys will be removed from the play area to prevent any contamination
🔹 A hand sanitizer station will be set up by the front door. We ask that everyone clean their hands before entering
🔹 We ask that ONLY necessary care givers bring swimmers to their lessons for the next few weeks. As much as we love having a large audience for class, we would like to limit the number in attendance around the little ones.
