I wanna be transparent with you mama …

Change is hard af
So is staying the same

Staying the same is familiar BUT that it’s no longer serving you.

I know deep down you know this, but you’re scared.

You’re scared that doing this work will change TOO many things.
You’re scared that it will negatively impact your relationships.
You’re scared that it won’t actually work & you’ll have wasted your already limited time.

& I totallyyyy get it because that was me.

Overcoming that fear was THE biggest hurdle for me.

But I need you to hear me when I say … IT’S SO F*CKING WORTH IT🤌🏼

Now being on the other side of things, I have so much perspective✨ And I am SO beyond grateful that I pushed past the fear.

Because now …
→ I can FULLY express allll my emotions with my hubs & we are more connected than we’ve ever been
→ Showing up as my truest & most AUTHENTIC self and not giving a f*ck about what other people think
→ I know myself & my needs on a deeper level so I can ask for the help I need & handle my daughter’s big emotions with wayyyy more confidence

I could keep going but those are the BIGGIES🔥

andddd I want to help you do the same because Glowing Mom Era WILL be as life changing for you as it was for me🙌🏼

All you have to do is say YES …

To my group coaching program that helps you replace that harsh inner critic and begin to see that you’re worthy just by being YOU!

DM me for all the deets💛

Mama, I know what you’re thinking …

I don’t even know where to start or HOW to even answer that question. UGH 😵‍💫

& that’s because it’s not easy to answer.
You don’t think about your self worth on a daily basis.
That’s just not happening.

Because that’s not what is on the SURFACE.
It’s the thing that is deeeeeep down.

So here’s what I want you to ask yourself instead ↓

✨What has the most impact on your confidence day to day?✨

I learned that I had quite a few cracks in my foundation, some bigger than others 🫣

So for me, it came down to what had the BIGGEST impact on me & that was being liked.

Appearance & achievement were definitely cracks too, but being liked was the DEEPEST crack for me which contributed to the others.

Then I got to work on detaching those things so that by the end, my self worth was ROCK F*CKING SOLID.

& yes, I still have bad days. I still feel down on myself from time to time but the difference is that it doesn’t for one second change how I view myself. It doesn’t make me feel LESS THAN. It’s temporary.

I no longer second guess EVERY decision I make.
I no longer look outside of myself to know what’s best for me & my family.
I no longer feel like my confidence is walking on a tightrope.

And that’s because I did the work to build my self worth. I did the work to CREATE the strongest foundation with zero cracks💁🏻‍♀️

PLUS now I’ve broken this cycle & I trust myself completely to help my daughter build THE strongest foundation too🙌🏼

And even better …

You don’t have to add something else to your plate because I have already created the exact road map you need to build YOUR rock solid self worth too 🔥

Alllll the details are coming soon BUT if you don’t want to wait until then … let’s chat ASAP 💛 just slide right on into my DMs mama & we’ll make sure this is the support you need😘

✨ the TOP FIVE lessons I learned in 2023 …

post inspired by .therapist 😗

1️⃣ Motherhood is THE hardest & most magical thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. The ups and downs, twists and turns, are a WILD ride 🎢 And I’m learning that I WILL make mistakes, it’s inevitable, and that is absolutely okay. Because it’s not about the mistake itself, it’s about how I choose to handle it.

2️⃣ I’ve been hiding my true & authentic self for a reallllllly long time and as much as realizing that terrifies me, I’m actually excited to discover who Kirsten REALLY is💃🏻

3️⃣ How I look is the LEAST interesting thing about me💁🏻‍♀️ no matter what I’m bombarded with on a daily basis, I will hold onto this fact. Plus I can absolutely be confident and feel worthy no matter what size of clothes I’m wearing or how I feel about my body.

4️⃣ Healing & growing is something NEVER ends❤️‍🩹 and that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. My life is a constant journey, there is NO destination. I can be confident af in myself while still growing, learning, making mistakes, & having bad days.

5️⃣ I don’t actually have a fear of failure, I have a fear of being SEEN 👀 because the more that I’m seen, the more people will disagree / reject me 🤯 but I’m learning that if I try to be a chameleon, then I’m not actually going to help the people I am supposed to help.

What’s something you learned this past year that has made a lasting impact? Drop em in the comments 💛

Does this sound familiar? 🫠

You get a couple days in & you’re feeling good about it and then … your little ones sleep schedule changes AGAIN or they start teething or they only want to sleep on you or … the list could go on and on.

This was one of the hardest things for me as a new mom. I am a routine queen 👑 seriously, I use to plan out my day down to the minute. & then I had my daughter and no matter how much I tried to map out my day, it never went according to plan.

So back to the original question … how do you stick to a workout routine as a new mom?

STOP TRYING.

Okay wait, before I lose you.

I don’t mean stop trying to find ways to add movement into your day. What I mean is … stop putting so much damn pressure on yourself to have a rock solid routine right now.

Because I’m telling you right now that with a baby, that’s really fu***ng hard and you’ll end up feeling defeated and disappointed in yourself more often than not.

But there’s hope, I promise🫶🏼

You can be consistent with daily movement but it just might not look like how it use to.

Instead, it could be taking your little for a walk around the neighborhood or popping them in a carrier and dancing around your house💃🏻 both of which are AMAZING ways to move your body right now.

And the last thing I’ll leave you with is this question to ask yourself …
✨Am I actually enjoying these workouts or do I just feel like this is what I ‘should’ be doing?✨

That pressure you’re putting on yourself to get back to the routine you had before your little came along is only hurting you, not motivating you. Read that again 👀

If you’re ready to find a ‘routine’ that leaves room for flexibility AND has you feeling energized & able to be more present with your littles, then you need to be in Glowing Moms Collective👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏽❤️

I’ll be doing a live training this Friday on how to find JOY in exercise again! DM me the word GLOW & I’ll send you the link to join!

Hi friends 👋🏼

Wow it’s been a hot minute since I posted on here and I’m actually kinda nervous (I have no idea why 🙈) BUT I’m currently working on some things & I’m just too excited not to share them🙃

So a little background first …

I had my daughter last June and it’s been a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions ever since. After having her, I really struggled with the fact that my body changed SO much throughout pregnancy 🤰🏻and then after too.

It wasn’t something I talked about openly because I felt like I shouldn’t be struggling considering I talk about body image ALL the time with clients given the fact that I specialize in eating disorders 🫠 so I just held it all in.

But then I started to talk about it & realized that the support in THIS area (and a lot others) for moms is so incredibly lacking and I knew I had to do something about it.

So I started talking about it more & how I was helping myself through it and an idea 💡 was formed.

I’m working on something REALLY amazing that is going to help moms take back their wellness on THEIR terms, not society’s. The focus will be on taking care of yourself without feeling pressured to be a smaller size.

Basically, I want to help as many moms as possible break free from diet culture, create a sustainable AND enjoyable self care routine so they can feel happy, confident, & worthy no matter what shape/size they are💃🏻✨ PLUS this can help you create the best and most nurturing environment for yourself & your littles!
