As part of the continued commitment to providing a safe environment at school events, we want to inform you that the district will be conducting a pilot program using metal detectors at this Friday's varsity home football game (10/23).
The purpose of the pilot program is solely to evaluate the feasibility, effectiveness, and overall impact of metal detection screening at varsity football games.
Fans attending the game will walk through a metal detector prior to entering the stadium. We encourage attendees to arrive a little earlier than usual to allow additional time for screening and entry.
As a reminder, prohibited items, as always, include: Weapons, drugs or drug paraphernalia, and alcohol. Bags are also not allowed.
