We’re excited to welcome swimmers and families to the New Tampa Family YMCA for a big swim meet on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23!

Please note that the pool will be closed to members and guests during the meet and will reopen at 12:00 p.m. each day. The pool will remain in short course yards (SCY) throughout the weekend.

Please plan your swim time accordingly. Thank you for your understanding, and good luck to all our Stingrays competing this weekend! 💪🌊

YMCA New Tampa Back To School Bash Back to school Bash is coming to New Tampa

With the Florida heat and a busy summer camp season, this donation couldn't have come at a better time. Your generosity helps keep our campers, staff, and volunteers hydrated and safe all summer long.

As we celebrate our nations Semiquincentennial, please note that we will have adjusted facility hours on Saturday, July 4th.

Facility Hours:
7:00am–2:00pm

Pool Hours:
7:00am–1:30pm
Short Course

Stay & Play / Youth Zone:
9:00am–11:00am

There will be no GroupEx classes scheduled for the day.

One of the Tampa YMCA's Strategic Plans is to Advance Leadership Development. Our two senior guards are taking the next step from their time here at the New Tampa Family YMCA.

Flynn will be the new Pool Manager at our South Tampa Family YMCA. He has led the New Tampa pool over the last two years with training and onboarding all our new guards.

Jesika will be the new Pool Manager at our East Pasco Family YMCA. She has led our swim instructors in group and private lessons. She has the natural talent to teach our children at their own level.

Please congratulate these two on their new roles and we know they are going to do wonderful things.
