Makes my heart happy when girls text me and say “hey just wanted to let you know I committed but I wanted to tell you before I post it.”

I’ll continue to say it… it’s never easy to train remotely as there’s another layer of commitment. There’s no hand holding and instant ego fluff added in.

You do it. You trust it. You execute.

Utilize opportunities.

Too many use in-between inning tosses as a Big D flex. Big cheats to look cool. Runners gonna go regardless… it’s in their gameplan.

In-between opportunities:
- Having patience similar to In-Game
- Clean exchanges
- Establishing a good grip
- Foot plant adjustments
- Rotational checks
- Tempo establishments
- Work different set-ups

Take advantage of the opportunity to focus on the Micro.

Livin out of a suitcase life lately ☕️

Grateful for the catchers and families at DTD that allow me to do this on a Tuesday. Might even get a Woodford on the leg from ATL to Starkville. Flexibility is the name of the game here. Between 24/7 access, Open Gym format, and online/at-home workouts… we keep moving forward even when life gets busy for them or myself.

Happy Coach. Happy Valley.

I’m so proud of the work you have put in behind the plate over the last few years. You are the perfect example of it takes what it takes even if it’s uncomfortable and hard. Never easy to work remotely but you never complained and was always blowing up my phone on ways to improve. You text me more than my own family.

Some adjustments are needing to be made with a few catchers as the injury bug has bitten a few. Nothing crazy as it’s just a small pivot. With that said I have 2 remote catcher programming/coaching slots opening up now.

Well atleast we are making “some” progress on how to evaluate catchers…
2.0 still plays. 1.7s are rare.

1.86 was the P4 average last year. Up .01 from 2025. How do I know these well… it’s kindof my job to know these things since I work for 3 P4 programs alone and got buddies all over the place. 😂😉🤷‍♀️

Also if you throw 50mph out of the stance hate to tell you… you aren’t even a JUCO catcher. Also ain’t no catcher throwing 65mph IN-GAME out of the stance… YET. 62mph equals 1.0 second of ball flight. It’s Jesus on a Jet buzzing the pitcher as it goes by.

Don’t ask me about anything else. I love being in my tiny teaching bubble. I will say I LOL’d on the Home to 1st times. Sally Sue Meatstick isn’t gonna run a sub 2.9 to 1st. And 2.5???? Honey isn’t a softball player she gonna be a trackstar or coach was abit happy on the stopwatch. 😂😂

Okay maybe this flyer is super questionable after all the deeper I dig into it. Some make sense and others…. Woof. So teaching point here… you need to do your homework and find coaches and programs that actually have a brain and understand reality. 😂😂😂
