💥 Sciatica Is NOT a Leg Problem
❌ Most people with sciatica spend all their time stretching, rubbing, and treating the leg...
But that's not where the problem starts.
🔑 Sciatica is typically caused by irritation of a nerve root in the lower back
That's why you feel pain, burning, tingling, or numbness down the leg even though the source is often the spine
If you only focus on the symptoms...

💥 Stop it with the “weak core” nonsense!
❌ So many people are told they have low back pain because their core is weak.
However the number of people that are told this that are active gym goers who are stimulating their core with all the different exercises they are doing cannot be ignored!
Even people who are doing planks on a weekly basis are told their core is weak.
This just doesn’t make sense!
If you workout at all your core probably isn’t weak, and it is NOT the reason for the your low back pain.
🔑 The key here is to understand that the “weak core” assumption is extremely outdated and often extremely incorrect!
I have had online clients who were elite weightlifters and strongmen that were told their low back pain was from a “weak core”.
It doesn’t make sense! If you workout, you have a stronger core than a majority of the population, and to chase this assumption is most likely going to result in wasted time and money.
I don’t want you going on wild goose chases trying to address something that isn’t the problem!
👆 So what is the problem then?
Typically we find core function to be more involved which relates to breathing and bracing mechanisms, lumbo/pelvic relationships, and specific low back/disc obstructions to be the issue in these cases.
If you workout or move relatively frequently then most likely a weak core isn’t the issue….
But you still need a pan to figure out the real problem and have a real plan…. Right?

We went on a European cruise a couple months, and my wife and I were literally the only people on the entire ship under the age of 65
Every day there were tours of different European cities conducted by the ship
And almost every day we saw dozens of couples unable to complete the tours because they were out of shape or had injuries
These were super slow and casual tours….
This truly made me feel bad, and I couldn’t help but think these couples probably saved for years for this trip, and now that its finally here they can’t enjoy it because they can’t move well
I have seen this up close first hand within my own family as well
I never want to be unable to do the things I want in my later years
I can’t imagine being unable to move, sightsee, or take care of myself
And the ability to maintain independence and vitality start NOW
The movement and health habits/investments I make now are changing my future
