A SPOTLIGHT is a 30 second demonstration of something you’ve been working on. Just a taste. Many students use Spotlights to get started on a new Showcase routine. All Spotlights are considered works in progress and are danced at a Friday Night Party. 💫
A SHOWCASE is a 1:30+ choreographed performance that has been rehearsed and polished. 🤩 A Showcase routine uses special music and often has a theme. The show is part of a special event on a Saturday afternoon that includes freestyle dances, a guest judge, and awards. 🏆
