Newsome Girls Varsity Lacrosse

is in Tampa this weekend, scrimmaging University of Tampa (11AM) and Jacksonville (2PM) at UofT. I encourage all of the local boys lacrosse coaches and players to attend; what a great opportunity to see two Division I lacrosse programs. Of course I will be pulling for Rutgers, my alma mater!

A great opportunity to train some with some lacrosse stars and legends. Don’t miss out, only 200 spots available.

Ally Mastroianni is returning to FishHawk this Thursday, November 16 at 6:00PM for a Pop Up Girls Lacrosse Clinic! Here are the details:

Ally is one of the most decorated midfielders in UNC Women's Lacrosse history, she is a two-time, unanimous First-Team All-America (2021, 2022), the 2022 IWLCA National Midfielder of the Year, 2x ACC Midfielder of the Year (2021, 2022), and ended her career as UNC's career leader in draw controls with 360. She competed in her first professional lacrosse season with Athlete's Unlimited in 2022 after finishing her 5th year as a Division I NCAA Champion AND won a GOLD medal with Team USA at the 2022 Women's World Lacrosse Championship.

Congratulations to the entire Newsome Girls Lacrosse team. This season was filled with highs (a number of big wins and personal milestones reached), lows (Covid quarantines) and a lot in between. Despite the ambiguity you all pressed forward, stayed focused and played hard. Although tonight didn’t end as anyone wanted, you should hold your heads up high and be proud of all that you accomplished. You are an amazing group and you continued the tradition of strong Newsome Girls Lacrosse teams...the best is yet to come! 🥍🐺
