Richie and I finished up the last 6 diamonds at beef and ale. Then went to recover and make some tighter pockets on an older diamond at a customers house.

So. When you are do multiples. I do my best to “de tassel “ the rails. A term I got from corn states. As I saw a sign saying “ de tasselers needed” anyway when you work with simonis or Gorina you gotta destring the rails. I like to put the end rails in one pile and sides in another. Saves a whole lot of wasted time on the job when everything is prepared and ready to get to work in the poolrooms. Also I like to make “day” boxes. The grab and go to it.

Alex and I finished up a table rebuild todayyyyy. New k66 cushions and Gorina basalt apple green cloth.

When they send the antique snooker rails. And the replacement material. They don’t realize that back in the day there were no snooker “rounds”. It was all one piece and cut to fit. The replacement cushions are “fatter”. Then you have to cut and mate them up. It’s a chore. A process for sure.

Was quite a trip. Went to Pensacola yesterday to load up a diamond this morning. My friend whom lives up there. Sarah the super girl came to help me. Been a long time since I’ve seen her. She was awesome. Then got thrown a curve ball with the one Peice slate. Thank goodness the neighbor was able to help us deal with it. But Sarah was sooo much help that I can’t say enough about that young woman.
