Thank you to everyone who donated to our Back To School backpack drive. We were able to bless 26 children in grades K-5 at Bright Stars summer program with new backpacks and supplies for the new school year. Thank you all for blessing us to be a blessing!

Next Step is offering a FREE Financial Empowerment Workshop on Saturday, with some classes offered by Regions Bank on October 8th from 10:30am - 2:00pm. Topics include: Building Your Financial Confidence, Wise Use of Your Credit and Kingdom Financial Planning. 25 seats available. Space is limited!

Our September outreach is called "Purses with a Purpose." We are collecting travel-sized toiletries and feminine items for women in a local shelter. Our goal is to be able to donate at least 50 "purse" gift bags. We are still accepting donations!

We're excited about our first outreach! This month we honored our veterans by taking gift card donations to the James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital for homeless vets.

Next Step New Beginnings is an organization that assists individuals of all ages transition from one stage of life to the next. We hold workshops, book studies and outreaches to provide training, education and assistance throughout the community.
