This year has been one of the toughest of my coaching career. I had nine months to find a new pool, and during that time one of the hardest things to watch was many of my swimmers either quit the sport or move to other teams.
Through it all, I stayed positive because of the incredible people who believed in me. I'm especially grateful to Jamie (Blue Wave), Gurby (Florida Elite), Ryan (TEAM), Chris (CVST) Justin Correia (TCA) Jake Morrison (STA), Sandy Godley Parlett and the families who continued to trust me as their coach. Your support meant more than you know.
This week, we officially started at our new home at East Lake Woodlands. It's the beginning of a new chapter, and I'm excited for what's ahead.
When it comes to my success, I'll always bet on myself. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and stood by me throughout this journey. We're just getting started.
