Meet Sarah 🌿

Sarah’s yoga journey began over 30 years ago after a coworker invited her to a Bikram Yoga class and from that very first experience, she was hooked. Yoga offered exactly what she needed for her body, mind, and spirit, and over the years she continued exploring different styles of practice while experiencing the unique benefits each had to offer.

After moving to Tampa with her husband 11 years ago and stepping away from a career as a psychiatric nurse, Sarah found herself navigating back challenges that led her to seek support through Yoga Therapy. Already passionate about alternative wellness modalities as a Reiki Master, she was encouraged by her Yoga therapist to pursue teacher training herself, a path that would eventually lead her to sharing yoga with others in a meaningful way.

Sarah completed her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training right here at Lotus Pond. She is an E-RYT 500, YACEP through Yoga Alliance, certified in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates Mat 1 & 2.

In Sarah’s classes, students can expect thoughtful alignment guidance, movement connected with breath, and options to support all levels of experience. She encourages students to stay present, letting go of worries about the future and rumination about the past, while creating a practice that feels accessible, supportive, and joyful.

Her teaching philosophy is simple:

“You are one yoga class away from a good mood.” 💛

Sarah believes yoga is for everyone: every age, every stage of life. When she isn’t teaching, she loves spending time with her husband of 47 years, their 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and ballroom dancing with the love of her life.

Join Sarah:
✨ Tuesdays 10:30am Gentle Yoga
✨ Fridays 9:00am Align & Flow Yoga

We’re grateful to have Sarah sharing her wisdom, kindness, and joyful spirit with our Lotus Pond community. 💚

What happens when you pause long enough to actually listen?
To you breath, to vibration, to the subtle ways sound can soften and steady the mind.

Join us for a donation-based pranayama & sound experience with Kranti Kalepally as we explore the calming and connective practices of Bhramari and Sheetali pranayama.

Through breath, sound, vibration, and focused awareness, this practice invites you to slow down, reconnect, and experience the resonance of presence within yourself and within community.

✨ Donation Based
✨ Suggested Donation: $10–$30
✨ Saturday, May 23
✨ 12:00–1:15pm
✨ All are welcome

Kranti’s teaching is deeply rooted in the Shri T. Krishnamacharya lineage, Vedic chanting, and the integration of breath, body, and mindful attention. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and rooted in sincere exploration.

Questions the practice may invite:
• How do I listen to myself?
• What is my relationship with my breath?
• Can sound become a pathway toward stillness and loving kindness?

YTT students at Lotus Pond Yoga can receive 1.5 (TTP) credits with written reflection.
