Which would you rather have at the Sand Bar?

Hi all,
It was brought to my attention recently that people do not know the story behind Sand Claw Anchors, and that if people understood the reason we made them, it would make more sense to switch from your current stern anchor to A Sand Claw Anchor.
So, since today is the 4th Anniversary of why we made the decision to make them, I wanted to share the story.
While we have had our own anchor for sometime it wasn’t until this accident at the sandbar that we decided to share this with everyone.
While enjoying the day the island and playing football for Father’s Day a family member dove for the ball landing on a fluke anchor. It pierce his chest with only inches from his heart and we had to rush him for emergency help on the boat, a very terrifying 45 minute boat ride.
That is when we decided we would never want another family to go through what we had just gone through.
You can find more information at sandclawanchors.com or on our page. We would be happy to help if you have any questions.
Stay safe out there this weekend!

Sand Claw, LLC is the original safety anchor. Hand made here in the USA. This is a shallow water stern anchor. These are meant to be hand set for stern use.
Why use a Sand Claw for your stern anchor? Because, it gives you the safety you need. How many times have you been to an island, with your kids, friends and family and hit an anchor, stubbed your toe, or worse yet, fallen on one that is in shallow water? With the Sand Claw your worries are over. Our anchor lays flat in the sand to protect you and your family, with no need for extra chain. With a total weight of only five (5) pounds, our Anchors are tested and proven to hold up to a 32’ boat in moderate wind conditions.
While we have had our own anchor for many year, it wasn’t until a recent event at the sand bar, that we decided we need to share this with everyone. While enjoying a day at the island and playing football, a family member dove for the ball and landed on a fluke anchor. It pierced his chest only inches from his heart and we had to rush him for emergency help. We decided at that time, we would never want another family to have to go through that ordeal.
