Great turnout last night for Week 1 of our Monday Mixed Classic Bowling league's Winter/Fall Season! We have 16 full teams - Team 17 needing 1 bowler, and we have room to add 1 additional full team!
If you'd like to join us please come on out to Pin Chasers Midtown on Monday, January 12 ready to bowl at 7:30 pm!

Hope you’ve enjoyed a few weeks off and are ready for the start of our Winter/Spring 16-week season!

Please plan to join us Monday, January 5th at PinChasers on Armenia in Tampa. Signup and a brief meeting will begin 6:30-6:45 PM with Practice starting at 7:30, followed by Week 1 competition!

A couple of reminders for tonight!

- Tonight is the last opportunity to donate non-perishable food items for our donation to the MMC Tampa Food Pantry. For our efforts, IGBO will be making a $100 donation to MMC Tampa!

- Tonight is the last week to pay league fees! Any outstanding fees will be deducted from your Team Prize Fund!

- Tonight we will be taking nominations for our 2026 Winter/Spring season officers. If you're interested yourself, or would like to nominate a fellow league member for an office, please let Andrew know when he makes the rounds this evening.

Next week we will be taking team sign-up's for our end-of-season Pot Luck on Monday, December 15. We'll break bread before we begin busting pins on 12/15 - and after bowling while we wait on prize fund payouts!

Monday Mixed Classic - 2025 Fall League Update

We had a great turnout for last evening's Organizational Meeting including almost all of our previous season members and about 10 new bowlers joining our league!

We approved the season bylaws including a $2.00 increase in weekly fees to cover the cost of a lineage increase this year. Weekly fees will now be $22.00 per bowler, per week.

I'm happy to report that we currently have 16 Full Teams for our 2025 Fall season! I have one bowler on the wait-list looking for a Team, and we have plenty of room to grow!

If you'd still like to join us there's still time! Just come on down to Pin Chasers Midtown on Monday, August 25 (preferably by 7:00 pm to complete paperwork). Can't wait to see you all next Monday!

Tonight's the night!

Join us at 7pm at Pin Chasers Midtown for our 2025 Fall Season Organizational meeting.
We will be voting on league bylaws which will include a potential weekly fee increase (to offset lineage fee increase impact to the prize fund).

Free practice bowling will be available following the meeting!

League bowling starts Next Monday, August 25, at 7:30 pm!

Just a reminder that we Do Not bowl this week, but will return with the start of our new winter/spring short (16-week) season next Monday, January 6, 2025! We will have a brief organizational meeting at 7pm prior to the start of week 1 bowling at 7:30pm!

If you are planning to return for this session please drop me a message so I can get the paperwork started with the Bowling Center so we can be ready to start next Monday!

It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the passing earlier this morning of former MMC League President David Chestnut. David had slipped into a coma following what was believed to have been a cardiac episode on / about October 7. Additional information concerning arrangements will be provided when available. Rest in Power my friend. 💔
