🔥 The Marquee Teams Get the Spotlight: The top-tier teams from these programs are absolutely loaded, featuring anywhere from 15 to 23 Division 1 commits on a single roster. Because of this, they get preferential scheduling at the main East Cobb complex, playing right in front of hundreds of college coaches.

🔥 The Secondary Teams Get Ghosted: If you aren't on that top squad, you are likely playing on a random high school field two to three hours away in the middle of nowhere. It's a tough pill to swallow, but several nationally recognized mega-programs literally had teams go 0-5 for the week.

🔥 Coaches Are Guarding Their Commits: College recruiters aren't necessarily wandering the backfields looking to discover a hidden gem. They are primarily there to babysit their current commits (and evaluate if they are still progressing) or to flip committed players from mid-majors over to Power 4 schools.

If you go to this tournament expecting magical exposure just because of the brand name, you might not see a single college coach all week. Unless you have an absolute stud playing on a stud team with at least 8 D1 commits—like the unranked Stacked Baseball squad out of California that shocked everyone and won it all—save your money.

Focus on targeted camps, keep grinding, and be realistic about where your team actually stands on the food chain!

If your 2026 kid is still uncommitted, the clock is ticking, but the window isn't closed. There are specific camps happening over the next four weeks packed with JUCO, NAIA, and D2 coaches actively hunting for late pickups.

If I were an unsigned 2026 right now, I’d target the events listed below. But here is the golden rule: you do not just show up hoping to be discovered. You get the coach attendee list, you email them your verified metrics and a clean video three days before the camp, and you drop it in their Twitter DMs. Tell them your jersey number and what field you'll be on.
