Hey Friends! If you got a photo package at Dirty South Games 3 here's my (Luke Tevebaugh's) link. Jay hit the road to see family just hours after the comp, so stay tuned for his in the next few days to a week or so. We thank you profusely for your support of us and our work. Happy Thanksgiving!! - Luke

Want to give a big shout to all of the volunteers that made this event possible today! I know we ran into a few problems early, but with the help of our amazing community we were able to overcome our issues and run smoothly! Patty and her Pure Fitness Tribe, battleheart fitness, and the Polk State Softball Team came up huge for today and we couldn’t thank you enough! Everyone that stepped in to judge, thank you so much! I honestly can not express enough how much you all mean to me!
I hope you all had a great time today! This by far was our most stressful event, we seem to have had problem after problem with the planning, and little things that are in the background that no one ever sees. It took a freaking swat team to overcome everything and we were given an army when we needed it!
If you had a great time today, we would love for you to leave us a review on our page to possibly encourage more people to give us a try next year! It would be greatly appreciated!
Again thank you to everyone that helped us out today!
Until next time! 🤘🏻✌🏻

Good Morning Athletes!! Today is the big day! Here are a few things that will help you:
-ALL ATHLETES AND SPECTATORS Enter the Fairgrounds from MLK
- ALL VOLUNTEERS/STAFF Please enter from Orient Road
-At Athlete Registration, please have both partners come up to sign a waiver AND KNOW YOUR HEAT AND LANE #’s (it will sp*ed up the process)
WoD 1: If you do not clear your plates off the bars and put the plates back neatly for the next heat, your team will face a 100lb deduction.
INTERMEDIATE FEMALE - We consolidated a division into yours, therefore we will have FIVE PODIUM SPOTS UP FOR GRABS!
ALL ATHLETES: Look for the booth beside your warm up area, they will be doing Complimentary KT Taping for you and FREE Screenings! Make sure you drop by.
All of our vendors are traveling a long way to be here today. Be sure to show them some love!
Remember today that you are competing in a sport that you love. Stay humble and be thankful for all of the volunteers and staff members. Without our volunteers this event does not happen! Give them a big thank you instead of yelling at them mid WoD. Remember that if you are No Repped, that they are doing their job and upholding our judging Standards. If you need to yell at someone, come yell at me. I’ll be the guy with the headphones in 😂
But seriously, be kind, enjoy the beautiful day, talk with people from different gyms and build our CrossFit Community up!
See you all soon!

Ok, I’ve gotten this question about 19 times since yesterday.
“Are we inside or outside tomorrow?”
You will be inside a nice warm building with the doors down. Don’t worry. We won’t be making a Snowman for time tomorrow ⛄️ 😂

Here is the lady in charge! For 3 years in a row she has been our head judge and we are happy to have her back! Ever seen Judge Dredd? Well Wendy Carranco is the law on the WOD floor!

Ok so we are getting a lot of messages, so here are some FAQ to try and clear things up?
1) Athlete Check In:
-730am
2) Athlete Briefing:
-7:55am
3) Do I need to be there for the briefing?
- I don’t care. If you know what you’re doing then by all means, get there when you want. 🤘🏻 if you have questions or want clarification and ample time to warm up, get there early.
4) Why do I only need my first WoD time, Heat #, and lane #
-This comp is 4 WoDs back to back. Once you start in your lane,” and with your heat, you will all travel forward on the floor for 1 hour straight. You will have 8min between WoDs, but this break will be taken during your transition and you will remain on the comp floor until you finish WoD 4. So what this means is, you need to p*e or 💩 before you start 😂😉
5) can I change my division?
- No, this is something that should have been done before registration closed and heats were made.
6) Are dogs allowed?
- yes, and you better let me pet it!
7) Is there a Spectator Fee?
Yes $5 at the door. Cash only.
8-Do we pay for parking?
- unfortunately, yes. Not our rules. The Fairgrounds charge either $7 or $8 and they keep all of that for themselves. It is cash only. Sorry.

Good Morning! No one ever gets to see the planning that takes place in these events or maybe they never think about it. Ever wonder how we are able to change out equipment so quick and flawlessly before a completely different division? It’s like a NASCAR pit stop, with weights flying off the bar and the new weight added. It all starts with pre planning! Cheers to Coffee and Planning to make this event run perfect!
